clip

This was sitting on my desk top. Thought id upload it before i delete it. It was rendered to test the text, this will be in the show. From the portland zine symposium. That was a friend talking (with the microphone)

21 minutes.
A friend told me i should just do a half hour show, for obvious reasons. Like the time it might take to edit 60 minutes v.s. 30 minutes.
After 21 hours of editing there is 21 minutes of show. Maybe 31 hours of editing?
Half hour, one hour. This thing is going to air next month. Maybe in two parts?

on another note. It is hard to keep the pace and the beat of the show going when there are so many news reals floating around my head. The economy, the war, the money the job. Things have slowed to a crawl at work.
I hope hope hope im wrong but i fear we are going to look back on today and miss it.
As in, this is only the beginning. The first quarter.

cursing

How long does it take to edit some text to look like the dos prompt font/with the flashing cursor?

a day...
I know how to do this but its one of those things that is taking way to long and will be on the screen for seconds.

September 27th 2008

The intro will eventually evolve into a masterpiece taking up the first 20 minutes of the show. But, for now its a couple minutes and isn't close to what i want.

The intro video+song cant be played here. I agreed to an agreement with The Real Tuesday Weld. Because of legalities i cant play the song in this format.. on the internet.
Only on cable access.

You can listen to it here though, "The show must go on" will be the opening and ending song.

Thank you The Real Tuesday Weld!!!!!!!!
thank you thank you thank you.

(We both have a day-of-the-week in our name, but there is no relation besides that)
((the intro will not last 20 minutes, that was a joke)

The Tuesday Show cardboard intro

below: the tv again

$9 to potentially kill yourself.
This is going to be part of the intro but i need to go
to the T.V. repair man to figure out what not to touch.
The T.V. tube will go into a small box if i survive this.

A window in a cardboard house

The T.V. will sit on this cardboard table. Its about 30 inches long.

Below: storyboard.. None of these pictures enlarge for some reason.
This one is will.

Editing cardboard

Opening sequence in the making.
It might be confusing watching this, but there will be cardboard in the opening sequence.
This was an hours worth of cutting and gluing. If you can ignore my friend spinning fire you will see a little carboard frame emerge. And some tables.
It might be eaiser to just throw everything into after effects and use 3d, which is actually 2d. See - itsjerrytime
I think the opening sequence will change with each show. Like the Simpsons.

Thats Mazzy Star playing in the background
